Tourism Minister Excited to See Baha Mar’s Resurgence

Minister of Tourism and Aviation Dionisio D’Aguilar is thrilled that Baha Mar is thriving in the tourism marketplace, and with the addition of Regatta Food Hall, a new flavorful and diverse self-serve restaurant is confident that this resort complex will only get better. “It’s really wonderful how Baha Mar is coming alive. It seems like almost every week they’re opening a new food and beverage option. They have Italian, they have sushi and down here tonight is their “all-you-can-eat” fabulous buffet. It’s top of the line, truly wonderful and an incredible experience. It’s also a testament to how well Baha Mar is growing out their product line, growing out all that they have to offer,” he said.

The Regatta Food Hall is in Baha Mar’s east tower, lower level and serves a wide assortment of American and International dishes for breakfast and dinner. Describing the Baha Mar property as “buzzy,” Minister D’Aguilar said on top of Baha Mar’s success, what makes it extraordinary is the Bahamian staff. “Of course, what’s the icing on the cake is the number of Bahamians that are employed at this facility, it grows every day towards the goal of getting to 5,000 Bahamians directly and many more thousands indirectly, so I’m very excited to participate in yet another opening. I’m very excited about how this project is truly impacting Bahamians and truly very excited that finally, Baha Mar is exploding on to the scene,” he said.
