The Minister of Labour, Senator the Hon. Dion A. Foulkes congratulates the Minister of State for Grand Bahama in the Office of the Prime Minister, Senator the Hon. J. Kwasi Thompson and the new tech company GIBC Digital which plans to create 50 new high paying jobs in Grand Bahama. The new tech company which specializes in providing digital solutions in automation, data intelligence, cyber and fraud, customer experience as well as regulation and compliance is committed to making Grand Bahama the technology hub of the region.
“This major development spells good news for the island of Grand Bahama and is a prime example of the type of investment projects the Government plans to attract to the
island,” said Minister Foulkes. “The establishment of the new tech company will create jobs which are most needed by Grand Bahamians at this time, as well as new training opportunities that will benefit residents for years to come.” “I pledge my Ministry’s commitment to work hand in hand with Minister Thompson and officials from GIBC Digital to positively impact the economy of Grand Bahama,” Minister Foulkes concluded.
