The 15th Annual Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) is currently underway in Nassau, November 28 to December 2; and in Hope Town, Abaco, December 2-6. The Festival opened with Gala Film, ‘Sprinter’ at the Grand Hyatt, and will close with the film, ‘Pigs of Paradise,’ depicting the famous swimming pigs of Exuma. In addition to regular film screenings, there are a number of panel discussions and festive film parties. Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Marguerite Pindling attended Opening Night; and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Peter Turnquest addressed the opening night audience, at the Grand Hyatt, Baha Mar.
