Two illegal firearms taken off the streets in Grand Bahama by Drug Enforcement Unit officers.


Reports are that on Monday 18th February 2019 shortly before 4:00 pm, officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit acting on information, proceeded to an abandoned building in Lewis Yard where they searched the area and discovered a black 9mm pistol with one magazine and a
black and silver .38 revolver. There were no arrest made in this matter.

The investigation will continue. The Royal Bahamas Police Force would like to thank the Grand Bahama community for partnering with them in the fight against crime.
