Mrs. Patricia Minnis, Spouse of the Prime Minister, addressed the 22nd annual Bahamas Debutante Foundation awards ceremony recognizing participating school aged girls in the junior and senior high schools at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Friday, March 8. Mrs. Minnis told the girls to set goals for themselves and not stop until they achieved them.

She said, “The best thing you can tell yourself is ‘Yes I Can’.”All students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better and must be in grade 6 as a junior and grade 12 as a senior. Participating schools include Gerald Cash Primary, Eva Hilton Primary, Queen’s College Primary, Government High School, Aquinas College, St. Anne’s School and St. John’s College.
