  1. I am currently vacationing in Hope Town, Elbow Cay. I was disappointed and very discouraged that it cost $50.00 to have a special permit to allow accessibility to the town for my daughter who has a disability. I expressed my disappointment to the town clerk that it is wrong to charge a fee to the most vulnerable people in society for accessibility. The civic leaders of Hope Town and other places in Bahamas must move forward with accessibility fairness. Glad to see you hosted The Disability Affairs Division of the Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development hosted a Disability Awareness public forum recently.
