Recovery After Hurricane Dorian – NIB Plays a Part

Persons from the Northern islands who were displaced due to the passage of Hurricane Dorian apply for replacement of their NIB cards, collect their pensions and register for unemployment assistance.  Personnel of the National Insurance Board (NIB) are pictured Wednesday assisting customers of Abaco, Grand Bahama and throughout the country with renewal or replacement of lost, stolen or damaged NIB smart cards; pension cheques and unemployment documents at the main office. This also took place at the other locations of NIB. The Department of Labor was also on site assisting with the employment process.
