With just a few short months to go before the biggest game of the NFL Season – Superbowl 54 – lucky football fans from The Bahamas celebrated ‘Beer O’Clock’ with a VIP Experience courtesy of Bud Light and its distributor, Bahamian Brewery &Beverage Company (BBB). In early November, lucky Bud Light beer drinkers and their guests were
treated to an all-expense-paid trip to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where they witnessed the showdown between the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins up close and personal.
Jeno Stuart, Brian Burrows, and Brendan Foulkes all had their names randomly drawn from the thousands of entries received. “The rules were simple,” explained Bud Light Trade & Marketing Supervisor, Annstacia Storr. “To enter, our customers simply had to a purchase a six-pack of Bud Light from any Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits location or other participating vendors. Not only did this give them an entry into the drawing for the Bud Light VIP Game Experience but also made it possible to win weekly prizes like Bud Light paraphernalia and free beer.”
The winners and their guests were provided with air travel, hotel, ground transportation, and VIP access to an exclusive Bud Light Tailgaters Party ahead of the game. “This was a truly VIP experience,” said Brendan Foulkes, a local Nassau winner. “From the moment we stepped off the plane, our every need was met and catered to, we were like game day celebrities.” The group included Bud Light clients from Nassau and Freeport, as well as other regional winners from the Dominican Republic and the US Virgin Islands. Upon arrival, Bud Light’s Bahamas winners were gifted with exclusive Bahamas branded Bud Light merchandise designed to help them stand out among the other winners. “We wanted to make this experience a truly memorable one” Storr explained.
“Our winners got to represent The Bahamas internationally while supporting their favorite NFL teams in the process and we all know that many Bahamians support the Dolphins!” With one prize package down, fans of Bud Light still have the chance to win the ultimate prize, a trip to the biggest game of the season. In February, Bud Light will send a football superfan and their guest to the Super Bowl with a prize package that includes airfare,luxury accommodations, access to Bud Light parties and events, plus VIP access to one of the world’s major sporting events.
