The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island is expecting its high occupancy numbers over the Easter holiday weekend to continue during summer 2024.
Atlantis Executive Vice President of Administration and Strategic Initiatives, Vaughn Roberts told ZNS News that The Bahamas continues to be the destination of choice for visitors. He said, “for us, you know, we go into a strong summer July, August is usually very strong for Atlantis with summer break and just because we do such a phenomenal job with families. And then the rest of the year we have strong bookings so far. We have seen a shortening of the booking window so transient or people who are just coming for leisure, they’re booking within thirty days so it’s a little harder for us to forecast but we are seeing the pickup within the thirty days. We were concerned initially about March and we booked a significant amount of rooms for March in March. We’re not able to forecast much further out because of the shortened booking window but the demand still seems to be there and still seems to be very strong.”
