Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the Hon.  Chester Cooper expects tourist arrival numbers to remain strong despite recent booking cancelations.

Cooper said, “we continue to have very strong numbers.  We still expect, not withstanding some cancelations, we still expect strong numbers for November and December.  There will be some cancelations.  The booking window has shortened significantly.   So people will still book to come to The Bahamas for the Christmas holidays.   This is a great time for the country.  Our brand is strong and I expect that we’re going to end the year strong.”

Executive Vice President, Administration and Strategic Initiatives, Vaughn Roberts confirmed the resort has suffered significant cancelations due to the passage of Hurricane Milton.
