The promoters of the upcoming Vybz Kartel & Friends concert to be held in the capital says in addition to gracing the stage the artist will also impact local communities through philanthropic efforts.

International Events Promotions Partner, Dario Williams told reporters that Kartel is hoping to especially impact young men. He said, “one spot we identified is the Simpson Penn because one of his things is he wants to catch the youth between the ages of 12 and 16. So the Simpson Penn is one of the spots we’ve identified and then some other charitable organizations he wants to give charity to. One of the organizations United Against Crime, we are looking into FOAM as well…and probably another organization we’re looking into.”
