Police are investigating the shooting death of a man at a business establishment on Cowpen Road on Thursday morning.

Officer In Charge of Southwestern Division, Chief Superintendent Tess Newbold was on the scene where she provided details of the incident.  She said, “the information received is that he was approached by three dark males, masked, from a white vehicle which fled and made good their escape west along the Cowpen Road area.”

Chief Superintendent Newbold also appealed to the public for any information about the incident.

The victim has been unofficially identified as Eddie Miller.  He is said to have been known to the police.  Members of his family were on the scene when he was fatally shot.
