The public schools on Grand Bahama were the recipients of several supplies on Friday from the Grand Bahama Disaster Relief Foundation. While on island, Minister of Education, the Hon. Jeffrey Lloyd, met with Rupert Hayward of the Foundation where he learned how the Foundation came about and the work they have done since Hurricane Dorian, and their plans to continue assisting residents. Items donated included wipes, hard hats, tool kits, drop cords, micro towels, shampoo, hair straightening kits; toothbrushes and gallon jugs for water or gas. Minister Lloyd and Mr. Hayward are seen with representatives from the schools and the support staff at the Foundation.
