Hurricane Shelter Updates Announced


Officials at the National Emergency Management Agency are urging residents to stay prepared during the ongoing 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season, this time with changes made to the list of hurricane shelters available in The Bahamas.

Releasing a press statement on Sunday, the precautionary notice advises residents to take note of alterations made to the official listings of hurricane shelters across the country.

The most recent update features the addition of Exuma and Ragged Island shelters, and changes to already existing list for South Andros and Mangrove Cay.
