Police are investigating the Sunday morning murder of a man in the Kemp Road area.  According to police the man was walking when three masked men opened fire on him.

Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Sheria King was on the scene where she briefed reporters on the incident.  She said, “Shot Spotter technology alerted police control room to multiple gunshots being discharged in the Cooper’s Terrace area off Kemp Road.  When officers arrived on the scene they discovered an adult male with what appeared to be gunshot wounds, multiple gunshot wounds, about the body.  When the body was examined by EMS not signs of life was noted.  The initial reports indicate that the victim had just arrived at the residence when occupants, masked, exit the vehicle and opened fire on the victim.”

Commissioner of Police, Shanta Knowles was questioned about this incident while attending the annual police church service in Grand Bahama.  She revealed to reporters that an arrest had been made.
