Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Philip Davis is set to deliver the 2024-2025 mid-year budget in the House Of Assembly on Wednesday.

Ahead of Mr. Davis’ communication Minister of Economic Affairs, Sen. Hon. Michael Halkitis provided a preview. He said, “what the Prime Minister will do is go into more detail on the performance of the economy, the performance of the finances and where we are at six months into this budget year. And as we move into the second half of the budget year, the Prime Minister will detail the initiatives that we are confident will enable us to achieve our budget targets and that is our continuing focus on growing the economy, improving the revenue administration and containing the costs and seeking new sources of revenue. So at this point we are confident that we should still be able to achieve our targets that we set at the beginning of the budget year.”
