Commissioner of Police, Shanta Knowles revealed a rise in stolen cars at a recent press event where she released the crime statistics for 2024.

She said, “there were 392 stolen vehicles and Nissan make vehicles were the most targeted representing 36% of all vehicles stolen. The Nissan Note and March were the predominant models stolen.”

The Commissioner also revealed there was a 50% recovery rate for stolen vehicles in 2024.
