NCAA Women’s and Men’s Battle 4 Atlantis on hiatus for 2020

Atlantis Paradise Island, the iconic resort property located on Paradise Island in The Bahamas, announced today a temporary hiatus of the NCAA men’s and women’s college basketball tournaments known as Bad Boy Mower’s Battle 4 Atlantis Men’s Tournament, and Battle 4 Atlantis Women’s Tournament. The tournament hiatus is a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, including international travel restrictions. Atlantis Paradise Island introduced Battle 4 Atlantis in 2010 and has held the well- known and highly anticipated event for nine consecutive years. This year the launch of the NCAA Battle 4 Atlantis Women’s Tournament was to debut. Plans to resume the tournaments are slated for 2021.

“We have made the difficult decision to put on hiatus this year’s Battle 4 Atlantis basketball tournaments. Unfortunately, some of the limitations on international travel due to COVID-19 led us to this decision. We are excited to resume the Battle 4 Atlantis Women’s and Men’s NCAA basketball tournaments in November 2021,” said Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director of Atlantis.

Atlantis looks forward to welcoming the loyal alumni and team fans that have reservations booked and will host special events at the resort this coming November.
