The results of the New Year’s Day Junkanoo Parade were announced at JCNP office on Wednesday afternoon.

The overall winner of Division A was the Shell Saxon Superstars.  JCNP Member Anthen Mortimer said, “in fifth position with a score of 84.89, Genesis.  In fourth position, they got a one point penalty with a score of 85.98, One Family.  In third position with a score of 87.18, the Valley Boys.  In second position with a score of 87.74 and the winner of the 2025 New Year’s Day overall parade results with a score of 89.50, Saxons.  The Music Makers and the Prodigal Sons were disqualified.”

The B Division was won by Colours after their second place finish on Boxing Day.  The score were also announced at the press events. “In fourth position with a total score of 67.19 points, Body Of Christ.  In third position with one penalty point leaving a total score of 75.83, the Immortals.  In second position with two penalties leaving a total score of 79.78 points, Fancy Dancers and in first position in the B Division with 83.70 points, Colours.”  The New Vikings Junkanoo group were disqualified.

The 2025 New Year’s Day Junkanoo Parade was deemed a success by Junkanoo officials.
