A woman lost her life in a two car traffic accident on Sapodilla Blvd. on Tuesday.
Officer in Charge of the Traffic Division, Chief Superintendent Sabrina Porter was on the scene where she provided details of the accident to reporters. She said, “the black Toyota Mark X was traveling east along Sappodilla Blvd. and the black Nissan Cube was traveling in a northern direction on Thatch Palm Avenue when the collision occurred at the intersection. Both vehicles struck a wall at #3 on Sappodilla Blvd. where they received extensive damage. The black Nissan Cube which was driven by a female was ejected from the driver seat to the passenger side where she was partially out of the vehicle. The driver of the black Mark X he collided into the wall and received minor damage.”
The Chief Superintendent appealed to members of the motoring public to pay attention to street signs and stop lights and to abide by the road safety regulations.
The second victim in the incident was taken to hospital.
