Police in the capital are investigating a triple shooting incident that resulted in the death of three men. The incident took place on Step Street in the Fox Hill community.
Commissioner of Police, Clayton Fernander was on the scene where he told reporters three men wearing masks exited a Japanese vehicle and opened fire on the victims. Fernander said, “officers responded and on arrival they met three lifeless bodies of three adult male.”
According to police the suspects missed their intended target who was later taken into police custody. The Commissioner said, “a number of them were able to flee the area. What our intel is saying to us that an individual who was able to get away was the intended target. He is on bail for murder and he is being monitored. A short time ago officers found him and he is presently in custody to see if he could assist us with this investigation but we believe that he is the intended target.”
This latest incident bring the homicide total to 102 since the beginning of the year.
