Members of the British Legion, Bahamas Branch officially presented Governor General His Excellency the Most Hon. Cornelius A. Smith with the first poppy, pinned by Mr. Kirkwood of the Boys Brigade, which officially launched ‘Poppy Month,’ in commemoration of Remembrance Day. The pinning ceremony took place during a courtesy call at Government House on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
