Leader of the Saxons Superstars, Percy ‘Vola’ Francis, weighed in on the ongoing saga of the Valley Boys dispute on Tuesday.

Francis told ZNS News, “this doesn’t have anything to do with us as Junkanooers you know, this a Valley love affair problem.   And so what the have done was they have gotten all of us involved including the Minister of Culture, including the Prime Minister, including the Attorney General, including the whole Bahamas all say, the whole Commonwealth and this don’t have nothing to do with us.  This ain’ gat nothing to do with us.  That’s your problem, you were the one who have the love affair that failed.  So now what you gat to do now is you gatta fix your business.”

The Saxons Leader advised the Valley Boys to get their act together.  “The JCNP (Junkanoo Corporation of New Providence) has their rules and regulations governing the parades and we all have been a part of these rules and regulations all over the years, so what makes them so different.  Not because y’all think who y’all is make a difference to this but let me show you they have a legacy war that’s going on and the two of them want to hold on to the legacy.”

Francis says the faction of the Valley Boys led by Trevor Davis, The Valley Boys:  The Way Forward be invited to join the parades with conditions applicable to the JCNP rules.

Francis’ comments came after the JCNP threatened to cancel the upcoming Junkanoo parades in response to a Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture recognizing the Valley Boys: The Way Forward as registered and certified to participate in the parades.
