A man was shot and killed at a scrap metal yard off Carmichael Road on Wednesday afternoon. Police confirmed that the victim was an employee of the scrap yard.  Officer In Charge of the Southwestern Division, Superintendent Deno Josey was on the scene and gave details of the incident.  He said, “it’s said that a white vehicle, hatchback, came to the scrap yard, saw the male, demanded cash and opened fire on the male.  The male dropped after he was shot.  The car left this area heading in a westernly direction on Carmichael Road.” Superintendent Josey added, “when the police responded and they found the body EMS was called,  EMS looked at the body.  The Coroner came.  The Coroner pronounced the body lifeless.”
