The company downsized in 2019, prompting her to explore other avenues, using her Business degree in the printing industry and later as a Communications Specialist at The Ministry of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation, where she crafted press releases.
Her passion for storytelling led her to broadcast journalism, where she excels as a news reporter. With intrepid reporting skills, she is committed to delivering accurate, captivating, and impactful stories about the Bahamas.

Shayne Stubbs, has been a Reporter at ZNS Northern Service since June 2022. For seven years, he served as the sports reporter and photographer for The Freeport News, Grand Bahama’s esteemed publication from 2014 to 2021.
Shayne’s coverage extends to national and international sporting events, such as the CARIFTA Games, World Relays, and the Bahamas National High School Basketball Championships. Beyond the camera, he revels in gym workouts, Grand Bahama’s Flag Football League, quality time with loved ones, and the occasional spontaneous adventure.
His deep-rooted love for basketball and football shines through his reporting. Shayne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Lee University.

Jay Philippe is a Sports Anchor at ZNS Northern Service. Jay is a dedicated journalist and community mentor with a profound commitment to nurturing young men from the family islands and Freeport’s inner city community.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Sports Management from Webber International University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Webber International University Graduate School of Business.
Recognized as an American National Athletics Intercollegiate Association Scholar Athlete in 2011 and 2013, Jay is also a distinguished Head Basketball Coach, leading teams to local and national Championships.
