The body of a man who was reported missing by family members was found in the East Grand Bahama area on Tuesday.
Police Press Liaison Officer, Superintendent Stephen Rolle was on the scene where he briefed reporters on the incident. He said, “shortly after 7pm today’s date our control room received reports of an adult male in his late 30s being reported missing by his family members. Officers immediately launched a search team along with family members which led them to the area of the Eastern Grand Bahama area that’s one mile off the national park.”
The body was found a short distance from the victim’s F150 Truck that was parked alongside the road. Rolle said, “upon inspection of that male he was discovered to have some head injuries to the male at the time he appeared to be lifeless.”
An autopsy is expected to be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
