As a member country of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Government has applied to take advantage of a low-cost emergency loan facility that is available to all member countries. The loan amount is approximately US$252 million and falls within the borrowing authorization approved in the Supplementary “Hurricane Dorian” Budget in February.

As the members of Entry 24 celebrated 31 years of service on the Defence Force, current and past members of that squad saw it fitting to observe this occasion by assisting over 20 families with gift certificates.
Water and Sewerage Corporation Executive Chairman Adrian Gibson, signed two groundbreaking contracts, May 22, 2020 to further the Corporation’s work in Abaco following devastation of Hurricane Dorian. Mr. Gibson said the signing represented “a continuation of WSC’s objective to fully restore, construct and effect rehabilitation works to the water and sewerage networks in Treasure Cay and Marsh Harbour, Abaco.”
