United Faith Ministries International members and volunteers giving of themselves on their way to preparing as many as 3,000 meals, on November 26, 2020, at the church on Fire Trail Road. The Ministry of National Security’s National Neighborhood Watch Council (NNWC) had partnered with a number of churches, corporate sponsors and non-governmental agencies throughout the country to host the luncheon, with a goal of feeding more than 5,000 people across The Bahamas, under the theme “Somebody Touch Somebody’s Hand, Helping People, Changing Lives”.

According to the Ministry, Thanksgiving meals were packaged and delivered directly to the homes of thousands of senior citizens, children, the sick and shut- in, in all 11 Districts of New Providence, and districts Eleuthera, Abaco, & Grand Bahama, by members of the Council, the Police Liaison Officers and Neighborhood Watch Officers.  Minister of National Security the Hon. Marvin H. Dames officially launched the luncheon at their church that day.
