On May 2, 202, twelve (12) Haitian nationals and one (1) British national appeared in Magistrate’s Court No. 9 before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley on charges of Overstaying and Illegal Landing. All defendants pled guilty and were subsequently convicted.
Previously, on Thursday, April 29, five (5) Haitian nationals appeared in Magistrate’s Court No. 9 before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley on similar charges of Overstaying and Illegal landing. All pled guilty and
were convicted.
All individuals were ordered to be turned over to the Department of Immigration for deportation upon payment of fines or completion of sentences.
