Bimini – Seven (7) Ecuadorian nationals (6 males and 1 female) and one (1) Haitian male are in custody following an operation conducted by Immigration Officers in the Bailey Town area on Friday, September 18. The group has been transported to New Providence and will appear in the Magistrate’s Court this week on charges including Overstaying and Illegal Entry.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., the eight individuals were found inside a home during the operation and were taken to North Bimini Headquarters for processing before being transferred to New Providence.
New Providence – Today, the Deportation and Removal units removed one (1) Jamaican male
from New Providence. He departed at 3:20 p.m. on a Caribbean Airlines flight to Kingston.
