A postmortem examination of 27 year old Destiny Hamilton-Elder has confirmed her cause of death as suicide.
Officer in Charge of the Abaco Division, Will Hart spoke with ZNS News about the findings of the an autopsy performed on the deceased. He said, “the pathologist’s report has been completed from the autopsy. The ruling of the death is suicide. The report indicates that the wounds inflected were self inflected. So therefore we could now speak conclusively that death of Destiny Hamilton was caused of suicide.”
Hamilton-Elder was found unresponsive in a bathroom where she was staying on Guana Cay, Abaco on May 9th.
