Managing Director of Bahamasair, Tracy Cooper spoke with reporters to address how Bahamasair is handling the increased demand for its services.
Cooper said, “we have one 737 that is coming on hopefully in another three weeks. We have a ATR72 seventy seater that we’re contemplating bringing on hopefully in the second quarter or so of next year. That’s a 29% growth for the airline as far as seats capacity. And we will continue that growth, our strategic plan calls for at least one airplane per year into the future until we think that we’ve marginally met demand based on our supply.”
