Press Release
As Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues, BTC is taking bold steps to broaden the reach of its “Think Pink” initiative, bringing life-saving awareness and preventive care directly to more communities.
After a successful launch last month at its Mall at Marathon retail store, BTC has extended its outreach to its Southwest New Providence and Abaco retail locations, hosting “Think Pink” events at these locations on October 10th.
In partnership with the Sister Sister Breast Cancer Support Group, BTC offered 50 free mammogram vouchers to customers at its Southwest Plaza and Marsh Harbour Abaco retail stores – 25 to Postpaid customers and an additional 25 to individuals activating any Prepaid Plan.
The Think Pink initiative underscored BTC’s commitment to not only educate but empower Bahamians to take control of their personal health journey.
“We believe that access to early screening should not be a privilege, but a priority for everyone; no matter where they live,” said Latoya Moxey, BTC’s Executive Senior Manager of Marketing. “Extending our ‘Think Pink’ campaign to Southwest New Providence and Abaco reflects our deep commitment to the wellbeing of all Bahamians. We’re proud to stand with our communities in the fight against breast cancer, one screening at a time.”
The Think Pink initiative, now reaching into the Family Islands, highlights BTC’s continued investment in community wellness, education, and corporate responsibility. As October continues, BTC encourages all Bahamians to get informed, get screened, and Think Pink.
