The Bahamas Telecommunications Company’s [BTC] Chief Executive Officer, Sameer Bhatti gave ZNS News a glimpse into future plans for the company recently on the sidelines of an event where BTC donated $20,000 to the Bahamas Red Cross.
“We are continuing to rollout fiber, here on New Providence but also the Family Islands. We put fiber where it makes sense but I can tell you that we’ve already started to roll out, here in Q4, in parts of Abaco, continuing Grand Bahama, here on New Providence and we’re looking at a few others to continue that is 23. So I would expect us to continue to drive our broadband message and connecting communities and we think that that’s key to transforming lives.”
