Leading telecommunications provider, BTC is doubling down on a culture where commitment meets excellence, honoring 41 standout employees at its Q1 Top Performers Awards Ceremony at its Perpall Tract campus.
Representing teams across New Providence and the Family Islands, every honouree was nominated by their manager for consistently raising the bar, owning the outcome, and bringing BTC’s core values to life.
Now entering its second year, BTC’s Top Performer Programme has become a cornerstone of the company’s people-first strategy, designed to recognize measurable impact, reinforce a high-performance culture, and inspire excellence at every level of the organization.
Emphasizing the importance of sustaining this momentum, BTC CEO Sameer Bhatti said, “Our Top Performers represent what’s possible when talent, commitment, and purpose come together. They are not only delivering results but shaping the culture and future of our organization. As we continue to evolve and grow, it is this level of performance and dedication that will set us apart.”
BTC’s Director of People, Patrice Thompson, also highlighted the role of recognition in driving engagement and performance. “Recognition is one of the most powerful ways we reinforce who we are as an organization,” Thomspon said. “When we celebrate our people, we are also reinforcing the behaviors, values, and mindset that drive our success. These individuals represent the very best of BTC, and their contributions create a ripple effect that inspires teams across the business.”
The Q1 ceremony marks the first in a series of quarterly recognition events for 2026, with each group of honourees becoming eligible for the company’s prestigious Employee of the Year award.
Following the successful culmination of the 2025 programme, which saw 27 finalists and the crowning of BTC’s Employee of the Year, this year’s programme continues to build on a structured and transparent framework that recognizes performance, leadership, and impact.
BTC remains committed to creating an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Through initiatives focused on recognition, development, and wellbeing, the company continues to invest in its people as its greatest asset.
