BTC formally welcomed its new CEO Sameer Bhatti in a corporate reception, November 3, 2022. At that occasion, Prime Minister the Hon. Philip Davis congratulated BTC’s Board on appointing the seasoned industry executive with global experience and outreach to the key position, and encouraged BTC to aggressively bridge gaps in the communication divide in order to improve access by Bahamian residents to opportunity at home and abroad.
