In order to fulfil its mandate of preparing the 2021 Census of the Population and Housing in New Providence, the Department of Statistics swore-in some 20 personnel who will assist in gathering information for the department. The personnel — ‘Census Listers’ will get residents’ names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses in order for the census to be done virtually. The Census will be conducted virtually for the very first time, said Chief Census Officer Kim Saunders. The 20 Census Listers were sworn in by Sharon Smith, Justice of the Peace, and each signed a legally binding oath of secrecy on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the department’s offices
