Minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources and Centreville incumbent, the Hon. Jomo Campbell recently provided an update on the construction of the Centreville Community Center.
He told ZNS News. “we’re about 90% completed. I’m new to construction so I’m just learning that the finish work really takes the longest as it’s the most intricate part of it. But I’m happy to say that our pool is completed. It’s ready for swimming. We’re already looking to source lifeguards, center manager etc. and we’re just putting the final touches on the inside. If you were to pass now you would see that the mural on the outside is about 95-98% complete and you know weather permitting we’ll be able to get across the final threshold in about a week or two.”
Campbell hopes that a grand opening can be held before the end of the month.
