The Greater Chippingham Church Of God held a fundraiser over the weekend to raise money for needed repairs to their church building.
Assistant Pastor Michelle Rolle spoke to ZNS News at the event. She said, “we have some major repairs that we have to do to our church as well as install a new air condition system. So the vision came to us to have a all nation’s expo. This is our first one and what we’ve done, we’ve incapsulated all of the various nations and islands within our church which includes Haiti, Africa, we have Canada and all of the Family Islands entangled in that and of course Jamaica, of course, is a part of that.”
Rolle added, “we’re donations because in order to install a new central air condition for our church it’s over sixty thousand plus dollars. We have major renovations that we want to do to our restrooms, and so, there’s a whole lot of stuff going on. And so, we come together to do that so that we can help ourselves while we accept donations from the various corporations around the islands and the Bahama islands in order for them to sow into the ministry.”
