As Junior Achievement Bahamas closes out the 2025-2026 year with annual awards ceremonies across the country, CIBC Caribbean has made a donation in support of the organization’s continued mission to develop young leaders.
Junior Achievement Bahamas plays an important role in equipping students with practical skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, work readiness through hands-on learning experiences and mentorship opportunities.
CIBC Caribbean Country Head, Terrance Gibson, said “Junior Achievement Bahamas continues to create opportunities that inspire young people to think bigger, lead confidently, and develop skills that will serve them well into the future. As they gather this weekend to celebrate another successful year, we are proud to support an organization that is helping to shape future business leaders, innovators, and engaged citizens for our country.”
Junior Achievement Bahamas Executive Director, Tammy Lecky, said, “Every year, our annual awards ceremonies in Eleuthera, Grand Bahama and New Providence give us the opportunity to reflect on just how much potential exists within the young people of our country. Behind every student recognized is a journey of growth, confidence, and discovery.
“Support from partners like CIBC Caribbean helps make those journeys possible by allowing us to create experiences that expose students to new ideas, strengthen their leadership abilities, and show them that their goals are within reach. We are grateful to have organizations standing with us as we continue preparing young Bahamians not just for employment, but for impact.”
