Ministry of Tourism (MOT) recognised winners of the Coastal Awareness School Poster Competition in Grand Bahama on May 27, 2026, in the foyer of the C.A. Smith Building. Under the theme, “Protecting Our Coastline, Preserving Our Future,” students showcased their artistic talents, while raising awareness about the critical importance of coastal conservation.
Winners of the competition:-
1st Place: Dior Pinder – Freeport Gospel Chapel School
2nd Place: Assata Collie – Maurice Moore Primary School
3rd Place: Ah’Mari Rolle – Maurice Moore Primary School
The winning and featured artworks are currently on display at the C.A. Smith Building and will later be available for viewing at Waterkeepers Bahamas, The Bahamas National Trust Facility and Freeport Harbour Cruise Port.
