Female executives at Colina General Insurance Agents and Brokers presented donations to various female centered organizations in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

At a presentation event held Colina Corporate Communications Director, Maxine Seymour said, “at Colina we strive to create a gender equal workplace void of stereotypes and bias where inclusion in embrace and diversity is celebrated. Our company’s success is driven by women who comprise 80% of our employees and agents and 72% of the supervisors, managers and executives who lead the charge. We encourage everyone to embrace equity as we work together to end discrimination and promote gender parity.”

One of the organizations receiving a donation from Colina was the Bahamas Crisis Center. Administrator of the Crisis Center, Cleopatra Christie was at the event and said, “we’ve done great things throughout the world but we have not done sufficient where we are equal with our counterpart. And so on this day we want to recognize that yes we have accomplished much and we have done much but still there is much more to do done.”

Among the other organizations receiving donations were the Zonta Club of New Providence and the Pace School.
