Consumer Protection Commission officials are on the ground to ensure the change in price as the lower VAT rate on certain food items comes into effect on April 1st.
Consumer Protection Commission Executive Chairman, Sen. Hon. Randy Rolle told ZNS News that meetings will be held with store owners. “There are still some people in terms of the unclarity as to what are uncooked and unprepared food items. And so we want to amp up the campaign as far as that’s concerned.”
