The Managing Director of the Public Hospitals Authority, Dr. Aubynette Rolle the demand for healthcare.
Rolle said, “right now we have an influx of patients and we always say secondary to the lack of attention or accessibility to providers during the pandemic, we’ve now seen an increase in the emergency room, which the gateway to the hospital. And so therefore we’ve seen an increased demand to have our employees available as well as bed space. One of the things that I can say and I’m proud to say, when we would have met with the media earlier, that we did do some renovations and those renovations are complete. And as a result of that we have the availability of beds to be able to care for the patients
