The Disaster Risk Management Authority (DRM) met with Deputy Chief of the Americas and the Caribbean Desk – UN Office of Disaster Risk Reduction, Saskia Carusi, October 21, 2026 at DRM’s offices. Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Disaster Risk Management, the Hon. McKell Bonaby led meetings with Ms. Carusi. State Minister Bonaby said, “Our region is being reshaped by mother nature: Disasters do not know borders; international coordination is key to building a more resilient and prepared region.”
