In keeping with the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic intent of developing a professional and high-performance workforce focused on excellence and succession planning, Able Mechanic Elway Pickstock was recognized as the Marine of the Quarter for the Engineering Department on July 4, 2021.
During a brief awards ceremony at HMBS CORAL HARBOUR, the 8-year-veteran was presented with a certificate, from Captain Henry Daxon, Acting Captain Coral Harbour, along with Senior Lieutenant Nevada Bain, Assistant Base Engineering Officer. As the Royal Bahamas Defence Force continues to encompass duties that call for a career of sacrifice, the organization says ‘Bravo Zulu’ to all Officers and Marines who continue to guard the territorial integrity of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
