Additional airlift for Grand Bahama can begin as early as November. Officials of the Ministries of Tourism and Grand Bahama were in Charlotte, North Carolina for talks on the subject.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper heads the delegation and said, “we wanted to come to really till the soil here, if you will. Really to nurse the relationships, we met with the visitors bureau and we are forming a strong partnership.”

The Hon. Ginger Moxey, Minister for Grand Bahama is also a part of the delegation and said, “we’re doing all we can to get out there, promote Grand Bahama island. We have a team here from Grand Bahama who is excited to be a part of ensuring that Grand Bahama is around the table. And I’m excited to be partnering with the Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation as we look to, not just ensure that, you know, Grand Bahama is seen, but also that we’re able to continue to improve the tourism product so that when we promote, we are promoting the best that Grand Bahama island has to offer.”
