Forty-seven individuals were officially recognised for their outstanding contributions to the island of Grand Bahama during a press conference held July 16, 2025 at the Foster B. Pestaina Centre.
They are set to receive their national honours on National Heroes Day, October 13. The awards will be presented by Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia A. Pratt.
