The Ministry of Tourism (MOT), in partnership with the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board, has announced the fourth annual Oktober Beer and Barbecue Festival that will take place for the first time on Taino Beach grounds.
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of local breweries and an assortment of barbecue offerings.
The evening’s entertainment lineup will feature performances by Deep South Island Boys, Ophie and Da Websites, Conch Juice Band, Top Tier Band and Bahamas Brass Band. Guests can also experience an exciting Junkanoo rush out by the Superstar Rockers.
In addition to the live performances and food offerings, the festival will feature a variety of games and activities for both children and adults, ensuring fun for the whole family.
To make the event more accessible for visitors, the Ministry of Tourism will provide bus transportation from hotels in the Freeport area.
“We want to invite our visitors and residents to come out and enjoy an evening of live entertainment, amazing barbecue food, beer and so much fun,” said Jillian Williams, Brand and Communications Representative of the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board.
