The International Culture Wine and Food Festival (ICWFF) and the Central Bank of The Bahamas held a press conference at the Antiquities Monuments and Museums Corporation (AMMC) on Thursday, September 15, 2022. ICWFF event president Janet Johnson said “this year we are celebrating 25 years. Each year has been incredible and we hope this year is no different.” The AMMC grounds will be the location for this year’s festival slated for October 21 and 22, she announced. “Your choice of venues is important; and the AMMC as the principal heritage authority of The Bahamas provides a location that is rich in history and culture,” said Dr. Christopher Curry, managing director AMMC. ICWFF patron Dame Janet Bostwick said the festival began in 1995 due to UN encouragement for an event that brought together different peoples and cultures.
